Thanks for the shout out Kax! Also love the FAKs. I went from an anti-deck org to an exclusive deck org in the fall and it was quite the adjustment.

Although I appreciate a well put together deck, the fact that the best presentations I've seen have minimal going on in their slides makes me spend a bit more time on the delivery these days. Steve Jobs-ing as much as I can with my product releases.

you're welcome! i really loved that post so it was an easy decision to include in my list :)

the best presentations definitely use decks more as a visual guide vs giving the audience something to read. my rule of thumb when presenting, if there's too much text - might as well send an email.

Thank you for the thoughts on my question!! You made great points, and more and more I keep feeling like maybe I'm the problem 🙈 (It's me, hi! ~never miss an opportunity to quote tswift!) I'm very impatient and expect people to understand me when maybe they just aren't getting my points (which is why they want the decks!) Time for some self reflection I think!!!

aha! a swiftie emerged!

if it's about people not getting your points immediately - maybe it's also time to reflect on what language do they speak. the language of sales? revenue? do you need to explain your thoughts to a 5th grader? :)
