I wish more of the leaders I've worked around over time would have incorporated the ideas you mentioned. Doing more to make the work environment feel like a team (not family...eye rolls) and giving people a sense that you care about the team can go a long way.
Took me years + heated discussions with my team + working a coach to learn also how. The intention was there but not knowing how to execute was real. Doesnt help that there’s really no training or support that companies provide for this. One day you’re an IC, the next day you’re not.
