Great post Kax. I've had that manager scenario several times over the last few years - the ones that have a lot of opportunity/need to figure things out.
On the flip side, I have also seen plenty of people follow the leader they love into their new roles/companies. There are a ton of benefits to staying close to them if they are actually a great one - including the career growth talked about above.

That’s so true! I have ex-managers that I would follow in a heartbeat if only they didnt become coaches themselves 😂
