In the last 6 months alone, I’ve coached several people through their
job searches and helped them land offers that matched what they were seeking (some of them even more).
development conversations with managers that either got them the promotion a few months later or a clear set of expectations and timelines to get the ball rolling
Was it because I had the ultimate list of questions that interviewers might ask and all of the possible permutations of their expected answers? Or because I had the bulletproof job search framework that works for ANY and EVERY role, company, industry?
Was it because I knew what was going on in every manager’s head and their circumstances for promotions and therefore could give every client a list of talking points to bring up?
I wish. If I did, I’d just write a tell-all book and call it a day. 😅
I’ve been writing a lot about some of the steps that I go through with my clients in an effort to share as much as I can with all of you so you can make the first step towards transforming your career today.
But often what makes the results from doing it on your own hit or miss are these 3 things:
A partner in crime who can help you hold yourself accountable to your commitment, especially when things get difficult.
Somebody (or many somebodies) to help you see progress and wins you might not have recognized on your own.
An objective perspective to help you see through the many versions of reality a single event can have and help you choose one that actually helps.
Also there’s only so much I can write especially when 99.9% of the specific steps we take are also tailored to the individual and their circumstance.
I wish I could coach all of you. 😅 But even I have limitations called calendar space, but I’m a firm believer that if there’s a will, there’s always a way!
So I created BECOMING. It’s a 21-day “challenge” designed to help you finally get the career that you want to have (by Christmas because we’re starting December 1!)
Every day, for 21 days, you’ll get a prompt from me:
something to decide on and commit to
something to think differently about
something to try
something to recognize
Nudges that, yes, will ask you to get out of your comfort zone. But ultimately helps you practice being a version of yourself that already has the job or the role that you want.
We’re no longer waiting for the offer letter to make you feel that you’re capable. Nor are we waiting for your manager to say that you’re ready.
Every day, we’re choosing to think and act as somebody who is sure about their value, and we’re letting that change the way you interview, make a case with your manager, handle a complex situation at work, just to name a few.
The goal isn’t just to land the next role or get this specific promotion. That’s always inevitable, one way or another.
But my goal for these 21 days is to help you become the kind of person who consistently gets what they go after with more ease and fun (because isn’t that the point?).
That’s what we’re building in this 21 days — to be so secure and grounded in who you are and in how you show up that every single opportunity that you set your eyes on from here feels like a cakewalk.
And you won’t be doing it alone. There’s a private WhatsApp group where we celebrate together every shift, every win, every “wait, something just felt different” moment. Because those moments matter and they compound.
By December 21, right in time for Christmas, you’re giving yourself the gift of, ideally the job offer closed, the promotion secured, but most definitely the version of you who knows they can get it and knows exactly how to do it.
We start on December 1, and you can sign up for your slot here:
Or feel free to send me a message (reply to this email) if you have questions or doubts. :)
Looking forward to seeing you on December 1!
